Hey, fans of Satan and alcohol. It looks like July 22nd will mark the end of my over 6 years with Disposable Heroes. Whether you know it or not, the band has been less than pleased with our performances lately. Recently, we vowed to rehearse a lot more, get the material down tighter, and learn a bunch of new tunes for you all. I planned on moving back to Philly and being able to work with the band to get to the level where we wanted to be, but I have been looking for a new job and it turned out that the best opportunity for me was in New York. The band and I agreed that it would be impossible for me to commit myself the way I needed to if I was not in Philly.

So, a few things: I'm gonna miss this band and all of you so much. I don't think I realized how much until the band actually discussed the situation and we all said "Holy shit. I can't believe this is gonna happen." I think we assumed that all of us would be in this band until we were old and grey (which is pretty soon for Greg!).

To the band- You are the best musicians I've ever had the honor to play with and I can't tell you how much being a part of this and having you as friends has meant to me. We kicked much ass, and it makes me proud to think back to our first show over six years ago (The Spaghetti Incident!) and realize how far we've come. Expect to see me at upcoming shows heckling you with the rest of the old crowd.

To our friends- Very few things in my life that have made me feel as good as the energy you feed us when we are onstage- screaming, singing, moshing, or however else. I don't know what we would have done without your overwhelming support and encouragement (like the first time we played at Veterans Stadium and were freaking out!). Thank you so much for all of it. You can't imagine what it has meant to us. Can't wait to be on your end at upcoming shows getting drunk and screaming my head off!

Carlos Alvarez will be taking my place and he is a bad motherfucker. I have no doubt that he will jump right in and allow the band to take things to the next level.

You'd better be there on July 22nd at Sweeney's for my last show! I will find you and kill you if you're not!
